Terms of Service

Clear working terms so both sides know what is expected at every stage of a project.

About these terms

These Terms of Service are between you and Teckuniq ("Teckuniq", "we", "us"), a website development studio serving clients worldwide. By using our website, booking a consultation, or purchasing any service from us, you agree to these terms. If you use our services on behalf of a business or organisation, you confirm you have the authority to bind that entity.

Our services

Teckuniq designs, builds and maintains websites and related digital services, sold as fixed-scope projects, one-off services and monthly management subscriptions. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use our website and client tools solely to evaluate, purchase and manage our services.

Orders and payments

Teckuniq is the seller of record for all orders. Payments are collected through PayPal, our payment processor, and are also subject to PayPal's own user agreement. Prices are shown in the currency stated on your invoice and exclude any taxes or bank charges that may apply in your country unless stated otherwise. Projects begin after the agreed deposit or first payment is received; remaining balances are invoiced at the milestones stated in your proposal. Monthly management plans are billed in advance through a PayPal recurring subscription and can be cancelled as described in our Refund Policy. Teckuniq handles all customer service, invoicing and refund requests directly.

Scope of work

Every project is defined by a written scope agreed before work starts: pages, features, deliverables, price and timeline. Work outside that scope is quoted separately before it begins.

Revisions and approvals

Each project stage includes a defined number of revision rounds. Feedback is submitted through your project workspace, and a stage is treated as approved once you confirm it or after the agreed review window passes.

Timelines

Delivery dates assume timely content and feedback. Delays in providing materials or approvals shift the schedule accordingly.

Acceptable use

You must not misuse our website or services. This includes: any unlawful use; fraud, spam or deceptive activity; infringing intellectual property rights; introducing malware or attempting to probe, scan, or disrupt the security or integrity of our systems; scraping or harvesting data from our website; reverse engineering, reselling or redistributing our tools; and circumventing any technical limits we apply.

Your content and responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping it up to date, and for maintaining the confidentiality of any access codes we issue for your client portal or payment pages. You grant us a limited licence to host and process the content you supply solely to deliver the services. You confirm you have the rights to any materials you give us.

Intellectual property

Teckuniq retains all ownership of our website, brand, software, tools, documentation and pre-existing intellectual property. On final payment you own the delivered website files and content created for your project. Third-party licences, plugins and subscriptions remain governed by their own providers.

Service availability and warranties

We do not guarantee that our website or services will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Liability

Post-launch support is provided as described in your proposal or management plan. We are not liable for issues caused by third-party services, client-side changes, or content supplied to us, nor for indirect or consequential losses such as loss of profits, data or goodwill. Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for fraud, death or personal injury.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access to our services if you materially breach these terms, fail to pay amounts due, pose a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously violate our policies. On termination, your access to client tools ends; delivered work you have paid for remains yours, and we will provide a reasonable window to export project materials before deletion.

General

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Teckuniq operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or acquisition. We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control. If any clause is found unenforceable, the rest remain in force.
