Privacy Notice

We keep data collection minimal and purposeful. This page explains exactly what we hold and why.

Who we are

This privacy notice is issued by Teckuniq ("Teckuniq", "we", "us"), a website development studio serving clients worldwide. Teckuniq is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice: we decide how and why it is processed. You can reach us at hello@teckuniq.com.

Information we collect

We collect the details you provide when you submit a consultation request, contact form or payment request: name, business name, email address, phone number, country and timezone, and the project information you share. We also process limited technical data such as your IP address and device/browser identifiers for security and analytics purposes. We do not collect or store payment card details on our website — payments are processed by PayPal on their own secure checkout, and we only receive confirmation of the payment.

How we use your information

We use your information to respond to enquiries, prepare proposals, schedule consultations in your timezone, deliver and support projects, fulfil orders, and send invoices, receipts and service notices related to work you have requested. With your consent we may also send occasional product or service updates, which you can opt out of at any time.

Legal basis for processing

We process your data on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (or steps taken at your request before entering one) when handling enquiries, bookings and projects; legitimate interests for security, fraud prevention and improving our services; consent for optional marketing communications; and legal obligation where we must retain records for tax or accounting purposes.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share information only with the categories of recipients needed to run our business: service providers and subprocessors (hosting, email delivery, analytics and support tooling); PayPal, our payment processor, which handles payments, recurring subscription billing and related fraud prevention (see paypal.com for their privacy practices); professional advisers such as accountants or lawyers; and authorities where required by law.

Storage and security

Enquiries and project data are stored in access-controlled databases protected by encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls and row-level security policies. Only authorised Teckuniq team members can view client records, and administrative access is restricted and audited.

Data retention

We keep enquiry and consultation records for up to 24 months from your last interaction, and project, invoice and transaction records for up to 7 years where required for tax and accounting obligations. When data is no longer needed for these purposes it is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, request a portable copy, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details on our contact page — we respond within one month.

Cookies

We use essential cookies required for the site to function and security, and limited analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may affect site functionality.

International transfers

As we serve clients worldwide, your data may be processed outside your country of residence, including outside the UK/EEA. Where this happens we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions.

Contact

For any privacy question or request, contact Teckuniq at hello@teckuniq.com or via the details on our contact page and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
